Search Consultancy are working in partnership with a successful family owned, North East based contractor who are currently looking to bolster their team and recruit a bid writer. This vacancy has come around due to workload and winning consistent workload within the construction industry, predominantly roofing.
If you have previous experience as a bid writer in construction, and are looking to broaden your experience, we would love to discuss this role further with you.

What we are looking for:
* Previous bid writing experience.
* Build construction or roofing experience (preferable).
* Excellent writing and communication skills.
* Ability to lease with the pre-construction team in.

Your responsibilities:
* Identifying winning bid themes, strategies and actions.
* Standardising tender bid submissions and adhering to tender process.
* Providing support to the pre-construction team and producing overall tender submissions.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with technical teams.
* Completing the quality content of tender submissions.
* Collaborating with pre-construction and construction teams when working on tenders.
* Collating, compliance checking and submitting full tender document.
* Ensuring content and format of responses maintains brand consistency.
* Supporting/covering other members of the bid team.
