Bid Writer

BID Writer required for out client based in Belfast to work on a wide range of project tenders on Civil Engineering Projects. The BID Writer will be joining a well established team and will work closely with the BID Manager as well as Estimators. This role will offer excellent career progression.

The BID Writer will need to have extensive experience to be able to develop the Bid Strategy with the functional Director and to provide general technical bid support to the business. A Site / Surveying background with BID experience would also be considered if they have suitable experience with Supporting the PQQ and tender process:

BID Writer Position Overview

• Developing Bid Strategy with Director
• Research technical requirements, client, specification, qualifications, etc
• Planning Bid Submission, deadlines for internal and external returns and review of information
• Proof reading of information supplied by the bid team
• Becoming full conversed with client's expectations on technical submissions
• Writing and coordinating technical bid submission with the support of the estimating team and contract managers.
• Assisting the tender team with collation of information and physical completion of PQQs

BID Writer Position Requirements

• Strong Creative Writing & Administrative Skills
• Proficient in the use Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, Power Point
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Multi-tasker able to support multiple teams in various remote locations
• Experience within a construction or civil engineering business
• Estimating Experience, or production of Compensation Event Quotations would be beneficial

BID Writer Position Remuneration

• Salary: up to £65K DOE maybe negotiable for a well experienced candidate.
• 23 day's holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays
• 1 or 2 days Hybrid working
