Paying up to £25k + benefits - Based in Oldham, North Manchester our client is a successful engineering business that are looking for a Billings Administrator to join their expanding finance team. This is an office-based role working from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday or 8.30am -5.00pm with a 45-minute lunch break. 

THE JOB

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Billings Administrator you will be supporting the company operations with the effective administration of the billing processes.

As Billings Administrator your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with other departments regarding job progress
  • Ensuring all invoicing is up to date
  • Liaising with customers to obtain purchase order details
  • Creating invoices
  • Distributing invoices
  • Billing reconciliations
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with the resolution of billing queries

THE PERSON

This permanent job opportunity could suit an experienced Billings professional, or a trainee administrator with a keen interest in finance.

  • Strong IT experience is required; (Microsoft Software applications – Outlook, Excel, Word etc)
  • Experience of using a finance based IT system would be advantageous but is not essential
