Day to day of the role:- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging biology lessons that stimulate students’ interest and curiosity in the subject.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the vibrant school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Biology or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching biology at secondary school level, including preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest educational research and teaching strategies.
