Our client, a leading company in the renewables sector, is currently seeking Blade Technicians to join their team on a contract basis. This role is essential in ensuring the maintenance and repair of wind turbine blades, thereby supporting the efficient generation of renewable energy across the region between Newcastle and Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing blade repairs in accordance with GWO Blade Repair standards
  • Ensuring compliance with industry safety protocols and procedures
  • Documenting all maintenance and repair work accurately
  • Conducting thorough inspections and assessments of turbine blades
  • Collaborating with team members and site managers to facilitate smooth operations
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in excellent working condition
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in blade repair, specifically with GWO Blade Repair certification
  • AT Status with Nordex and Alpha
  • Strong understanding of safety standards within the renewables sector
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday for 10-hour days, with potential for weekend work
  • Willingness to travel between Newcastle and Glasgow
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
