Block Manager
Are you an experienced Block Manager looking for a fresh new challenge?
My clients, a successful independent estate agency in the West London area is currently looking for a Block Manager to join their growing team.
Working Hours:
As a Block Manager, you will be required to work Monday – Friday
The successful Block Manager will be offered:
- Competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

- Use of pool car during working hours
Block Manager requirements:
- Arla or equally recognised qualification
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven work experience in a busy and target-driven business environment
- A commitment to providing high levels of client care whilst also being oriented to profitability
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask, as well as deal with new issues as they occur
- A self-motivated, can-do attitude
- A reliable, resourceful, resilient approach that is practical and solution-focused
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Excellent IT skills as you will be using Microsoft Office packages
Block Manager duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Developing effective working relationships with Block Directors, Residents/Leaseholders, Landlords/Tenants, Contractors and others through phone, email & face to face liaison
- Carrying out property inspections ensuring Health Safety and compliance are maintained
- Resolving block-related issues by undertaking both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks
- Sourcing Contractors to undertake both ongoing and one-off maintenance works as well as emergency repairs and monitoring and managing their work
- Dealing with enquiries and analysing leases in order to answer enquiries and ensure that lease compliance is maintained
- Providing accurate, meaningful and effective information to all parties in a timely manner
