Bodyshop Prepper

£35-40k depending on experience

Woolwich

Permanent/Full Time

Monday to Friday (8am - 5.30pm)

Our client, a main dealer group in the Woolwich area, is on the lookout for an experienced Bodyshop Prepper to join their busy bodyshop. If you hold the right experience - this could be your next role! Please apply today!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Prepper:

  • Completing prepping work for spray painters allocated in relation to job card, request parts and signing job cars on completion, ensuring all parts are approved and ordered on dismantling receiving relevant sign off.
  • Preparing vehicles for painting by sanding, priming and masking.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines, wearing any PPE provided and ensuring that work areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure the vehicle is repaired in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with minor paint work, including bending and touch-ups.

Your Background & Skill:

  • Experience in prepping within a bodyshop environment and working on motor vehicles.
  • Ability to work with heavy materials in a job that requires physical exertion.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to ensure you achieve targets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
