We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity with an accountancy firm near to St Ives, who are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.

The firm are hiring 2 positions, 1 full-time and 1 part-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the bookkeeping needs of a portfolio of clients
  • Posting/processing of sales and purchase invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Answering ad hoc client queries
  • Working closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate reporting.

Desired experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

  • Practice experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience using Xero & Sage bookkeeping platforms.
