A long-standing established accountancy firm commutable from Derby, Belper, Ilkeston and the surrounding areas is seeking to hire into a key job role involving Bookkeeping / VAT / Accounts preparation.

Candidates from other backgrounds will be considered, but previous experience of working for an accountancy firm is desirable.

The role will have varied responsibilities, that can be tailored to the successful individual’s skillset.

The basis of the role will include:

  • Bookkeeping
  • VAT returns
  • Accounts Preparation
  • Management Accounts
  • Other ad hoc duties, so for more senior people, this could be dealing with clients and helping to train junior members of staff

 The role can be hired on a full-time or part-time basis. The candidate must be happy to assist others and be comfortable answering the telephone from time to time.
