Bookkeeper / Administrator

£26k - £30k Per Annum

Brierley Hill

Our client based in Brierley Hill, is seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their current team. The role is based in a practice environment, but candidates will not need practice experience as this role is solely focused on their own Bookkeeping. If the right candidate possesses the skills / experience to offer additional support with the work of their clients however that would be advantageous.

Duties:

  • Bookkeeping using SAGE.
  • Raising payments from the bank on a regular basis.
  • Bank reconciliations on a daily basis.  
  • Answering telephone calls, message taking and colleague communication.
  • Typing, Printing, photocopying, letters, emails.
  • Regular filing duties as well as annual archiving of clients’ information/work.
  • Assist with the file setup of new clients.
  • Monitoring and managing supplies, dealing with deliveries and stationary orders.
  • Supporting team of partners/accountants on a range of administrative functions.
  • Various ad hoc other general office duties.
  • Assisting with payroll duties (if required and experienced).

Skills / Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAGE.
  • Able to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Team player who is happy to help in other areas of the business.
  • Excellent administration and IT skills.
