Grafton Banks Finance are working with a growing SME services company with offices in London Bridge to recruit an Experienced Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting in to the Directors and working in a small friendly finance team this job will be responsible for supporting with the smooth running of the company’s finances and control processes. This job is working in office and hybrid 3-4 days in office after the training programme.  

Duties and Responsibilities will include/ but not limited to:

  • Invoice processing including job costing coding’s ( Full function of Accounts Payable)
  • Application processing
  • Creation of remittance advices
  • Expenses processing
  • Debt collection and debtors reports
  • Payment list creation
  • Project report generation from Accounting Software
  • VAT processing
  • Daily banking and posting
  • Reconciliations
  • Liaising directly with the companies Accountancy firm with financial matters and data

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years practical working experience within a busy commercial finance function. You will have proven experience of working accounting software’s such as Sage, Dynamics and strong Excel skills. (Pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets). You will need to have excellent communication skills at all levels both verbal and written to manage financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals. You will need to be meticulous, confident and reliable, taking on a key role in finance for a growing commercial company.
