£15 to £25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work with a growing and innovative Midlands based UK registered charity.

We are looking for an experienced professional Bookkeeper to join us.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a finance role and have a robust understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.) and QuickBooks systems.

Responsibilities

Your role will be to support the finance functions of the charity, with responsibility

for a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks including, but not limited to:

• Recording ledger entries

• Reconciling ledger accounts

• Dealing with telephone and email queries from customers and suppliers

• Set up and maintain supplier details, ensuring company procedures are followed

• Creating financial reports and supporting the annual accounts process

Candidate requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience working within a finance department or similar

• A reliable team player with a willing aptitude to learn and help

• Experience of dealing with information in a discreet and professional manner

• Robust knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite

• Robust knowledge and experience of using QuickBooks

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Able to work independently with a high attention to detail
