Bookkeeper
ASSISTANT BOOKKEEPER - Belfast
SALARY: £30,000 per annum / pro - rata (depending on hours)
EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, full-time opportunity (open to part-time: 3–4-day week)
LOCATION: Office-based, Belfast
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Belfast, has a new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis (open to reduced hours).
This fantastic opportunity offers an immediate start, and the successful applicant will be required to complete the following duties:
- Post Client / Office cheques.
- Maintain Cash Book spreadsheet.
- Post Client / Office Bank
- Post Land Web Bank Account
- Set up Online Bank Payments as required.
- Post Bills of Cost / Maintain Costs Journal spreadsheet.
- Post supplier invoices to Purchase Ledger
- Check Bills & Cash Statements for solicitors.
- Resolve Ledger Card queries.
- Raise outlay-only bills as required by solicitors.
- Distribute ‘bank sheets (receipts/payments) to solicitors.
- Filing of all paperwork
- Bank Lodgements as required.
Essential Criteria:
- 1-2 years’ experience working within an account function.
- Strong bookkeeping skills
- Legal background/knowledge desirable but not essential
