We are looking for forward thinking and experienced Bookkeeper to work across multi site accounting departments for a small number of businesses, covering the Central, North and South Manchester areas.

OFFER: - Salary: £28-32k negotiable, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the flexibility of hybrid. Our client offers bookkeeping services and has 4 x clients that require accounts preparation and support. The role is based at client premises, onsite in their businesses as well as 1 x day in the office.

Full or Part Time Hours Available

A car owner / driver is essential to visit client premises.

As an experienced Bookkeeper, you’ll be confident in your technical ability and well as being a confident communicator, customer driven someone who enjoys being immersed in client accounts processing services.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Bookkeeper:

• Responsibility of managing a small portfolio of clients for bookkeeping, and accounts processing
• Preparation of accounts to trial balance
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
• Bank reconciliations, Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger

Experience required of a Bookkeeper:

• Experience in a similar Bookkeeping / Accounts Assistant role
• Ability to work solely with minimum supervision
• A personable, customer driven, people person
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Can support client queries with confidence
