Bricklaying Lecturer

The company
A Leading educational institution in the UK, with a reputation for providing and delivering a variety of vocational and academic courses across their multiple campuses. Offering excellent facilities and supportive learning, catering for students of various ages and backgrounds. Now seeking an experienced lecturer in bricklaying on a temporary basis.

The role
An experienced Bricklaying lecturer to join the team at their Warwick based campus to provide cover for a minimum 3-month period.

Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months (Commencing in September)
Pay rate: £20-£30 p/hour

You will take responsibility for:

• Delivery practical and theoretical lessons for level 1 and level 2 bricklaying courses
• Instructing and supporting level 2 bricklaying apprentices
• Ensuring the curriculum is up to date with current industry standards and practices
• Performing associated administrative task related to teaching activities

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful Production Manager to have the following:

• Must have a level 3 qualification in bricklaying
• Ideally holds an assessor's qualification
• Proven relevant teaching experience with bricklaying students at level 1 and level 2
• Previous experience working the bricklaying field.
• Up to date knowledge of all current industry standards and practices

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• An IV certification and/or assessors or relevant teaching qualification would be advantageous but not essential

On offer is the chance to play an integral part in guiding students forward in their academic success at a state-of-art campus equipped with extensive facilities. Working 24 hours a week with a payrate of £20-£30 p/hr for a minimum 3-month period.
