Broker Assistant (Apprentice)

Are you eager to enter the dynamic world of insurance? Join our team in London as an Apprentice Broker Assistant!

Amwins Global Risks will support you to achieve the Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification together with your professional qualification through the Chartered Institute of Insurance.

About the role

Responsible for providing clients with the necessary documentation and providing administrative support to the department.

-Production of Policy Documentation and Debit notes.

-Liaising with underwriters on behalf of clients.

-To be able to liaise with clients and respond to their needs.

-Servicing clients’ needs to a high standard.

-To support the department by implementing systems and updating processes ensuring the department operates - efficiently and effectively.

-Keeping Contact Database up to date.

-Ensuring the maintenance of quality service standards within the unit.

-Facilitate prompt collection and payment of premium between clients and underwriters.

-Checking and dealing with daily MI Reports.

-Producing MI Reports as required.

What you will bring

-Excellent attention to detail

-Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

-Good team player

-Ability to work collaboratively with others

-Good interpersonal skills

-Can manage own workload and act independently if required

-Previous experience of Total Objects system desirable

-Good administrative and time management skills

-Experience of working in an office (beneficial but not essential)

-Insurance background (beneficial but not essential)

-Excellent communication skills

-Good organisational skills
