Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

We're working on behalf of an established Managed Service Provider who are looking to add a Build Engineer to their established and successful team . This role will sit within the ProSec team and is primarily responsible managing and completing device builds for their clients. This includes the setup of new devices, and the repair or repurposing of existing kit. This role requires problem solving skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisation and communication.

The Build Engineer will work to support the wider ProSec Team who are responsible for all planned and chargeable work (including Projects and Service Requests), as well as security management and remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all builds are completed within the 3 or 5 day SLA.
  • To ensure that all repairs are completed within the relevant SLA.
  • To follow device set up procedures, ensuring specific client requirements are adhered to.
  • To support the Cyber Engineers in completing suitable tickets from the Cyber Queue.
  • Work with the ProSec Team to ensure timely delivery of service for clients, communicating with clients regarding tickets and the completion of new user setups in a professional and concise manner.
  • Manage ticket queue as per the defined Autotask ticket process.
  • Plan, organise and structure work required to work efficiently and meet required deadlines.
  • Maintain Implementations Room to keep this a tidy and clear workspace.
  • Take on additional responsibilities where needed.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills essential.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and work calmly under pressure with an organised and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Customer experience remaining the driver at all times.
  • Exceptional team working skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm or 9am - 5.30pm (occasionally overtime may be required to fulfil client requirements).
