Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South West London, are looking for an experienced Building Control Surveyor to join their in-house construction design team.
Position: Building Control Surveyor
Location: South West London
Salary: £33.51p/h umbrella
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm
Contract: Until July 2025 (possible extension)

Position: Building Control Surveyor

Purpose:
- Responsible for delivering projects throughout all RIBA Stages.
- Working closely with clients to identify their needs and put together design proposals for a wide range of facilities including leisure centres, residential buildings, cemeteries, day centres, libraries, care homes, family hubs, historical monuments.
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
- At least 5 years experience within a Building Control Surveyor or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of CAD software, technical building regulations and British Standards.
- Experience in administration of JCT contracts.
- Experience in producing building specifications with NBS.
- RICS qualification preferred but not essential.
