Building Control Surveyor
  • Contract Type: 12-week contract
  • Location: Peterborough
  • Salary: £50 per hour

We are seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor with a Class 2 minimum or Class 3 certification to join our team on a 12-week contract. This role is ideal for professionals who specialise in inspections and occasional plan checks. With a flexible start time available, we are looking to onboard the right candidate within two weeks.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conducting building inspections, focusing on residential and commercial properties within Peterborough.
  • Performing occasional plan checks as required.
  • Office-based work for 2-3 days a week, ensuring efficient time management for brief office stays, typically 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Working a 37-hour week, with flexible times around roughly 8 am-4 pm, Monday to Friday.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Senior Surveyor with a Class 2 minimum or Class 3 certification.
  • Experience in both residential and commercial inspections.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting and communication.
