A client of mine, a Housing Association, are looking for a Building Safety Manager to assist them on an interim basis for an initial 6-12 month contract based in the Leicestershire area.

About the Role:

My client is effectively looking for a Building Safety Manager to help them primarily audit and check on the quality of work across fire safety works in one of their tower blocks.

This will cover fire stopping, fire doors and putting processes in place for site procedures. The main site is based in Leicestershire and they would need someone on site more often than not, they're fine with home working but there is a fair bit to do on site.

They will be looking to pay around £400-£500 a day depending on experience and it can be outside of IR35.

The contract is an initial 6-12 months with the potential of being extended as there are additional projects in Leicestershire to be completed.

About You:

My client is looking for an experienced Building Safety Manager who has experience specifically with Fire Risk and Fire Safety.

* Working knowledge of the relevant Building Safety Legislation (Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, Duty of Care)

* Working knowledge relating to managing the delivery of building safety compliance within social housing
