Building Surveyor - An insurance focused firm, with unique growth opportunities!

My client are a commercial law firm, who have acquired various professional business's over the last few years and are now looking for a Building Surveyor to join their multi-disciplinary surveying practice, situated in Reading.

This is an opportunity for a Building Surveyor with insurance exposure, who is keen to develop their skills and be given unique growth routes.

Role and responsibilities

The successful Building Surveyor will work across a wide variety of projects in both residential and commercial properties in all forms of construction, carrying out insurance work and advising on the design, construction maintenance, repair and refurbishment of schemes.

  • Aquisition surveys, condition reports and measured surveys
  • To prepare schedules of works and specifications
  • Health and safety, party walls matters

Person specification

  • MRICS qualified (Not essential)
  • RICS accredited degree (Essential)
  • Insurance sector experience
  • A professional service bias
