Excellent opportunity for a building surveyor to move to a unique public sector role where you will be given autonomy, variety, technical challenge and chances to progress.

This public sector origination have 43 buildings spread over a 7 aches of land. They pride themselves on being a good employer to work for due to its rich legal heritage, supportive and inclusive work environment and commitment to professional development,

In this role you will be managing a number of medium sized projects up to £500k. This will include leading design teams, managing contractors on site, carrying our dilapidation inspections, Carrying out defect inspections and Specification writing.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sounds knowledge of building construction, be RICS or CIOB qualified and have a background in private estates or commercial.

This is a great role for a building surveyor to join a leading public sector organisation where you will be a vital cog In the wheel.

The role:
*Covering 43 builds over 7 acres.
*Manage medium size projects up to 500K.
*Working with the design team
*Managing contractors on site.
*Carrying our dilapidation inspections
*Carrying out defect inspections
*Specification writing
*Modifying building for disables access and sustainability

The person
*Building surveying experience.
*Experience dealing with private estates or commercial buildings.
*RICS qualified or CIOB
*Candidates who have experience with historical building are encouraged to apply
