JOB ROLE: Buried Services Coordinator

LOCATION: Huddersfield

RATE: £400 - £500 per day (Umbrella PAYE)

CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY:

Key Responsibilities include –

  • To develop, manage and implement processes for the detection and protection of all services.
  • To ensure these works are undertaken so as to prevent any possible delay to the main construction programme.
  • To ensure all staff are briefed and aware of services and the potential hazards they present.
  • To contribute to the development of WPP’s and Task Briefs.
  • To ensure that there is an accurate understanding of all service information at all stages of construction.
  • To work with other disciplines to assist in developing the scope of temporary civils M&E arrangements needed to facilitate the delivery to programme of the main civils work.
  • To co-ordination with permanent and TW civils M&E Designers, sub-contractors, CRE, TOC, Utility suppliers, M&E Manager and the civils delivery team.

Requirements for this opportunity include –

  • Be able to demonstrate extensive experience with all types of underground, above ground and building services.
  • Experience in a similar position for a tier one contractor of a large project, preferably on a rail project
  • Proficient in managing staff teams as well as the processes.
  • Competent in the use of CAD
  • Proficient in PAS128
  • A CAT & Genny or similar approved user
  • CSCS, SMSTS/SSTS, First Aid
  • PTS (Optional)
