Sterling Williams are currently working with a growing E-money institution based in the West End of London who are actively looking to hire a Business Analyst for their growing team. This will be their first BA hire in London; so if you are a BA with a background in FinTech, or Payment providers and want to get in early, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary circa £50,000 - £60,000 pa plus benefits

Office based 5 days a week initially, which may change to allow a more hybrid nature after probation.

Responsibilities:
  • Close collaboration with the business team (clients support, payments department, compliance teamsetc).
  • Gather business requirements from key stakeholders considering product consistency and ideology.
  • Assist with requirements gathering and digitalization on all task lifecycle stages.
  • Create requirements specification for developers & design team.
  • Create specifications for different APIs integration.
  • Compose entity descriptions and data flow diagrams.
  • Create customer product specifications and run product demos.
Requirements:
  • c3years+ experience with business requirements analysis in the IT domain.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Fintech area (Payments, FX, AML ideally)
  • Ability to transform business requirements to consistent specifications for developers (web, mobile) & design teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources.
  • Systems thinking and functional decomposition skills.
  • Knowledge of the describing tasks Agile methodology: epic, feature, story, tasks.
  • Understanding of principles and specifics SDLC.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor or MSc degree in computer science, finance,or related field is a plus (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of business process description methodologies is a plus (BPMN).
