Business Analyst/Project Manager

Our Client is a UK travel insurance company who pride themselves on their commitment to integrity, customer service, and fostering a positive workplace culture. They are currently in an exciting growth phase and are expanding their IT and Digital Delivery team to include a Business Analyst/Project Manager.

This is a varied and fast paced role working in a small friendly team, delivering projects through external partners within a small central IT team. Reporting to the IT and Digital Delivery Manager, you will be a highly motivated and organised professional with a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, can-do attitude and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating remotely and in person to deliver high-quality IT and digital solutions.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Manage a range of IT and digital projects
  • Work closely with third party suppliers
  • Support business stakeholders
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements
  • Produce & manage project documentation and plans
  • Manage and report on risks, issues, costs and benefits
  • Prioritise features and resources to deliver against the product roadmap.

Person Specification

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A technical background
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, project management and bug tracking software
  • A proven track record in managing projects related to IT, web-based systems and applications
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • An understanding of project management approaches, principles and practices
  • A proven track record in business and requirements analysis
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams, with a strong drive to collaborate
  • Experience in creating business system documentation
  • Great business acumen, with a strong ability to prioritise competing work streams.
