Venn Group is working with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Business Analyst, as part of a team being formed for the design and delivery of a council-wide Target Operating Model.

The aim of this new Operating Model is to improve service delivery, enable financial savings and unlock new streams of income for the council.

The programme team are currently in discovery, to define the As Is state across services, to inform the development of the model. The team will then undertake detailed service planning and redesign to build the To Be state.

In parallel with this there will be directorate-focused transformation projects, that will deliver efficiencies and tie in with the future operating model.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

  • Work across the projects and workstreams to identify opportunities for improvement, such as processes re-engineering, changes to service structures
  • Support the programme team and services to develop operating models which incorporate opportunities for change and improvement and ultimately deliver improvements and financial efficiencies
  • Conduct engagement sessions & workshops, to support the mapping of the As-Is state
  • Gather requirements and evidence to build into business cases
  • Make recommendations for improvements to services, functions and processes
  • Support the development of the To Be state and new operating model

Key Information:

  • Rate: £500 umbrella
  • IR35 Status: Inside
  • Location: South of England
  • Working pattern: 3 days onsite
