Business Analyst

Pleased to be supporting a leading business based who are growing rapidly. They need a Technically minded Business Analyst to join them on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. Fully remote is available paying £55-£60,000

Business Analyst Role Description

- Understand & be able to concisely communicate the project requirements and the business processes the development is supporting
- Understand the key requirements of the internal stakeholders vs. the customer stakeholders
- Consult with key stakeholders to gather requirements/clarifications
- Creation and design of specifications for Fusion for all agreed key features/functionality
- Define all background business logic relating to the key features/functionality
- Design all user interface requirements for the key features/functionality
- Creation of any required mock-ups for new screens/pages/views/reports
- Creation of the development tickets in JIRA with full acceptance criteria ensuring the lead developers are aligned with the approach
- Lead the presentation of the requirements to the developers for successful story point estimation
- Support the transition with the stakeholders of a new way of working in Fusion
- Support the developers throughout the development process in terms of clarifications/issues
- Assist in the development of test cases/plans for post development
- Provide regular, clear & concise progress updates, pro-actively highlighting any impacts to the project plan

Business Analyst Experience/Skills

- 5+ years Business Analyst experience, in a complex/fast moving industry
- Understanding supplier invoicing and charging mechanism would be particularly helpful
- Highly analytical
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in specifying end to end workflows rather than single/stand-alone features
- Experience of working with & understanding complex business logic
- Experience of senior stakeholder management/project management would be advantageous
