Attwood Perks is currently partnering with a development-focused and progressive business in Bury St Edmunds who are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their highly innovate team on a permanent basis.

As Business Analyst in this culture-first organisation, you will be required to get under the skin of the business, work closely with Key Stakeholders to effectively map an exciting mix of IT and business change projects. You will be required to collect, clarify and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed.

You will have experience of working in a large, fast-paced project environment and be an advocate of Agile working and have a strong understanding of business and change management needs.

This is a hybrid-working position so applications will only be considered from Business Analysts who can attend site a couple of times a week.

Day to day duties include:

  • Requirement elicitation, analysis, interpretation and documentation using both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies;
  • Maintain and develop best practice relating to processes, tools and ways of working to improve and enhance efficiencies, as well as drive creativity and capabilities;
  • Work closely with other Business Analysts and 'Heads of' to provide support and knowledge sharing to meet workload demands;
  • Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity in platform applications;
  • Documents user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures;

Experience Required:

  • Experience within a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role within a large, big-project business or technical environment;
  • Exposure of using and understanding the different Waterfall and Agile analysis tools and techniques;
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution;
  • Understanding of modelling techniques, such as unified modelling language;
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products;

This role is ideally suited to an organised, decisive team player with exceptional communication skills in order to translate complex requirements to large projects teams.
