Title: Skilled Business Analyst Required for Exciting Warehouse Automation Project in the Midlands!

Introductory Paragraph:
Our client, a leading company in the Warehouse and Distribution sector, is looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join their team. As part of this exciting project, the successful candidate will work on a contract basis and will be based at our client's office located in the heart of Midlands.

Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying business requirements that support process automation initiatives within warehouse operations. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide technical leadership throughout system design and implementation phases. Additionally, you will liaise with customers to understand their needs and ensure that the automation project meets their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include analyzing data from various sources, such as WMS (Warehouse Management System), Dematic Knapp Durkopp SSI, and other related software applications used within Warehousing systems. You will also be responsible for creating functional specifications based on customer needs and conducting Process Mapping exercises across departments. Finally, you will facilitate workshops with subject matter experts to ensure that the automation project is implemented successfully.

Skills Required: You should have a demonstrable track record of analyzing complex operational processes while identifying areas for improvement. You should also have significant knowledge relating specifically to software applications used within Warehousing systems. Experience using tools like Visio, OmniGraffle, Lucid charts, Balsamiq, Mockflow, Moqups, or Trello would be beneficial.
