An established Corporate Finance boutique in Manchester is seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Finance Business Development Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, professional services, or the legal industry, and possess an extensive network of industry contacts. This role is crucial in driving business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth in corporate finance services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing networks and building new relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored financial solutions for clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent the boutique at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, professional services, or legal sectors.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus.
