Dublin office (D02 Y3C6) - 4 days office based and 1 day homebased

€40,000 - €50,000 DOE per annum with OTE of up to €100,000

As our Business development executive, you’ll lead on our client base expansion whilst maintaining existing relationships, and managing the sales pipeline within your assigned territory. Your goal is to secure a diverse range of clients, ensuring gross margins exceed budget and contribute to sustained growth for Scottish Nursing Guild which will be achieved by developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy and having a resilient and enthusiastic approach.

Part of Acacium Group, Scottish Nursing Guild, is a business which consists of the service delivery of Nursing care within the Healthcare community. SNG are consistently on hand to deliver a first-class service to NHS and private care organisations at extreme short notice. The service we deliver is fast, reliable, professional and most importantly, trusted.


Everyday you will..

  • develop and grow our client base through market analysis to stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and showcasing the services we can offer.
  • liaise with internal management, recruitment and placement teams to deliver the best possible client experience and are aligned internally to deliver on our promises.
  • attend face to face meetings when required to ensure new relationships are developed in order to secure new business and exisiting relationships maintained by investing time to retain and grow the services we provide to them.
  • make targeted outbound calls identifying opportunity in your territory through board papers, jobs boards, social media or exisiting relationship referrals.

To thrive in this role, you must have...

  • previous healthcare experience is essential working in a 360 recruitment, sales or business development role in which you have used relationship building, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • an ability to demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced sales environment and working towards targets and KPI's.
  • an eye for opportunity with a proven track record of generating new business and growing client accounts whilst staying up to date with industry trends and changes.
  • prior experience in preparing and presenting compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients.
