Business Development Executive
Business Development Executive - 35,000-40,000 base plus excellent benefits
Our client is a global insurance broker that is just about to open a new office in Southern Spain.
Experience of insurance is not required as full training is given, however 2+ years of sales is required.
The role is hybrid, with occasional visits to the Estepona office. It is essential that you are fluent in English and Spanish.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Business Development - being creative and persistent in developing business opportunities including:
o Assist with the growth of the Europe’s core products in the Spanish market
o Review submissions received, translate and forward to the Commercial Underwriting team.
o Liaise with local brokers and assist in completing submissions for referral to the Commercial Underwriting team.
o Acquiring new clients and partners
o Identifying new opportunities including, through research, lists of suitable targets in the areas of: Entertainment, Casualty, Contingency, Medical and high-volume niche insurance.
o Identifying the appropriate contacts within target companies and pursuing business opportunities
o Pursuing ad hoc opportunities that may arise.
