Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Business Development Executive on behalf of our client based in Luton.

The role will be working as part of the customer service team and you will be taking a pro-active approach in helping to identify any new business opportunities from new and existing customers.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous business development or pro-active customer service experience is essential
  • Must be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude 
  • An excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, enthusiastic and flexible approach and willing to help out where required 

Tasks to include:

  • Supplying specific quotations to customers and supporting the external sales teams
  • Cold and warm calling existing customers 
  • Keeping all the administration up to date
  • Supporting the business development manager with follow up calls after meetings
  • Prospect-hunting day out with business development manager
  • All other customer service related tasks as required

Full product training is given and working as part of a fun team.

Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch

Salary:£23,900 pa + benefits package rising to £25,500 pa after the first 6 months.
