Reed Brighton is excited to be working with a Sussex based client who is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team. This would be ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of sales experience, particularly those with a telesales background who are looking to take the next step in their career. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive telephone-based business development.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with clients, offering consultative finance solutions to meet their needs.
  • Expand and update the client database to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the market sector to enhance client interactions.
  • Collect and organise client information to prepare finance facility packages for lenders.
  • Utilise in-house CRM systems to manage client information effectively.
  • Employ Microsoft Office tools proficiently and maintain high standards of administration.
  • Conduct marketing activities in line with our quality management standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in telesales with a track record of making 100-200 calls per day.
  • Demonstrated ability in Business Development and B2B sales.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Target-driven, results-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ambitious with a strong desire to succeed and a robust work ethic.
  • Fair, tenacious, and confident in approach.
