An exciting opportunity has arisen in a global business for an Account Manager to join a Healthcare Sales Team, playing a pivotal role in driving sales through account management and business development activities within the NHS. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to a high-performing business and enjoys the challenge of meeting and exceeding sales targets through innovative customer strategy programs.

Day to Day responsibilities of the role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the NHS Hospital Customer Base, understanding their unique challenges and showcasing how our offerings can enhance their operations.
  • Design and execute customer strategy programs, including pricing strategy and value-added proposals to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Demonstrate a wide range of clinical and engineering products and services to meet specific customer needs.
  • Work in coordination with the wider Healthcare business to identify and implement continual process & performance improvements.
  • Introduce and sell a range of new digital products and solutions, including digital cylinders and cylinder tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as operations, supply chain, and product management to deliver optimal service to customers.
  • Analyse market trends and align strategies to customers’ needs to ensure customer retention and market growth.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge on the delivery and application of company product, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate customer requirements to the engineering team for the integration of solutions for liquid gases.
  • Utilise CRM systems like Salesforce to enhance efficiency, data management, and strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales, marketing, or commercial qualifications and/or experience.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the healthcare market and products are beneficial.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Commitment to safety, integrity, and inclusivity in the workplace.
