Role: Business Development Manager

Location: East Worthing

Hours: Full Time

Pay: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + uncapped commission (10% of everything billed, no threshold)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, an exciting growing business within the IT hardware and telecoms industry, in East Worthing. The client has a £15m turnover and re-sells hardware to customers through their website and over the telephone.

The Requirements:

  • Confident, consultative, and dynamic Sales professional
  • Sales motivated and confident individual
  • Natural flair for numbers and quick-thinking
  • Ability to work closely with both customers and colleagues
  • Ideally some experience selling within the IT, telecom or technology sector

The Role:

  • Selling products to new and existing customers over the phone
  • Utilising leads and selling services
  • No cold calling - contacting repeat customers and advising bulk purchases for discounts
  • Contacting over 14,000 existing customers who have not purchased in over a year
  • Working within targets and achieving daily goals
  • Following and maintaining the company sales procedure
  • Maintaining the highest level of service towards clients and responding quickly to enquiries
