The company are a leading SaaS vendor with a reputation for market leading solutions, over 8,000 global customers and a broad portfolio of solutions. A market leader across multiple industries you will be aligned to a specific solution and vertical. The business are known for winning awards in every market they operate in and from a workplace and culture point of view have consistently been recognised as top employer around the globe. They are now looking for an experienced sales professional to manage their Benelux region.

Due to being a well established business this role is to come in and manage and existing portfolio of customers including some well known household names. You will be targeted on retention and growth of the existing portfolio of customers whilst also generating new business relationships in your assigned territory. You will be joining a sales team that is experiencing growth at an unprecedented rate with huge opportunity.

To be considered for this role you will need to have sold a SaaS solutions for 3 - 8 years, have a consultative approach to sales and be confident dealing with varying sizes of clients at C-Level. Ideally you would have progressed from an SDR role. So a software background where you have managed relationships with existing clients and also prospecting, calling & social selling to develop new relationships is essential.

Role Responsibilities: Business Development Manager - Benelux

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to manage the existing base of customers within a defined territory - mainly Benelux
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive new business opportunities within the portfolio of existing customers
  • Drive adoption of the portfolio of software solution across UK account base - land and expand
  • Identify and set up meetings with senior leaders, users and other stakeholders across the territory.
  • Become the industry expert. Attend client meetings with C-Suite, get involved in trade-shows and events, take a keen interest in user groups, and key conferences to network.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to plan and deliver marketing campaigns in the region
  • This position requires some client visits to develop relationships, increase users understanding and adoption.

Experience Required: Business Development Manager - Benelux

  • 3 - 5 years experience selling SaaS in a full sales cycle role
  • Demonstrable ability to develop new business from prospecting to close
  • Proven ability to manage existing relationships to retain, grow and nurture key clients
  • Proven track record of achieving & exceeding targets and driving growth within existing accounts
  • Comfortable sitting 8 - 10 client meetings per week with a mixture of new and existing clients
  • Exceptional presenting skills at the C-Suite/senior level
  • Proactive in your approach, pushes to make things happen
  • Keen to professionally develop, has a constantly learning mentality, self aware
  • Self-starter, able to launch and implement projects off own initiative
