The company:
My client is at the forefront of EdTech revolution, offering cutting-edge solutions to Further Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Training institutions.
They are about 4 years old and have exceeded all growth targets they’ve set. Because of expansion, we’re on the lookout for another Business Development Manager to join the North West patch.

This role is remote/home based, but you’ll be allocated a patch of the North West. We therefore need someone living around the North West.

The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire deal cycle from prospecting to closing and account management. Your role will involve:
  • Prospecting: Identifying and targeting potential clients within the education sector.
  • Client Interaction: Conducting 60% of customer interactions online and 40% face-to-face.
  • Pitching & Closing: Delivering compelling pitches and closing deals.
  • Account Management: Maintaining and nurturing client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction, retention & growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: c2-5 years in EdTech or Tech sales to the Education sector. We also welcome applications from BDMs in Tech/SaaS not currently selling to the education sector.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to map, target, and close customers.
  • Travel: Must be comfortable with face-to-face client pitching and travel within the North West UK (and further afield). Full driving licence & access to a vehicle required.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • Uncapped Bonus: Potential to earn £20,000 - £40,000 p. year 1
