My client, a successful HMI Component Systems Distributor with an established customer base across the UK, are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join their sales team, heavily focussed on building new relationships and winning new business opportunities

This role is office based in Reading, with the Business Development Manager works closely with the operations teams internally, and field sales teams externally to drive new business sales from concept to close. Understanding the electronics industry and HMI components is key to this role.

Requirements of the Reading based Business Development Manager:

- Generate and develop new business opportunities through the sales cycle by building strong relationships with new contacts

- Generate and convert new business leads over the phone and via email

- Interpret customer expectations and increase customer interaction and retention through strong communication and relationship building

- Must have recent experience selling electronic components

Benefits for the Business Development Manager:

- Basic salary up to £50,000 per annum plus UN-CAPPED commission potential

- 23 days annual leave + increase with service
