Business Development Manager - (Landlord and New Business Team)
Job: Business Development Manager (Landlord and New Business Team) PropTech & Lettings Sector
Location: Bristol - Candidates must live in the Bristol area
Salary: Basic £31,000 OTE £45-55K PA
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Home based and in field
This is a rare, exciting and interesting opportunity with an innovative Lettings Industry PropTech company who are disrupting the market in the Student Housing Markets in the major cities in the UK
What the job involves
- Selling to and onboarding private Landlords and Letting Agents to list their properties on the platform
- Cold calling, cold emails and cold walk-ins to Estate Agents
- Growing business from existing accounts
- Think outside the box to creatively find new leads and use prospecting tools effectively to uncover selling opportunities
- Network and seek build strong long term connections and partnerships
- Consistently work with our CRM to log activity and manage forecast and pipeline
- Co-ordinate effectively with multiple teams to activate new properties
Who you are
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales and business development ideally in the PRS
- Highly motivated with clear goals
- Consistently positive in mindset
- Able to work in a fast-changing business
- Able to bring ideas to the table and communicate effectively with the senior team
- Coachable and open to receiving feedback
- Excellent relationship-building abilities
Desirable
- Prior experience in PropTech &/or UK residential property is a plus
- Experience in early-stage startup environments would be an advantage
- Desire to be involved early in a highly ambitious business
