Role

As Senior Associate, Business Development, you will be helping to develop and deliver the Italian business strategy to maximise client acquisition. You will be a strategic and tactical operator, optimising the work of your team and elevating Unispace’s brand in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibilities will involve business development and client acquisition across Italy. The key elements of the role involve the following:
  • Development and execution of the local Business Development and Client strategy
  • Deliver key expertise and value through networking, cold calling, research, and intelligence
  • Develop multi-discipline relationships across the market to achieve a high level of sales pipeline
  • Undertake lead source analysis and drive lead management
  • Map and manage local client strategies and relationships around focus areas
  • Attract target clients utilizing fresh and innovative approaches
  • Undertake 80/20 conversion analysis to support local business planning
  • Implement strategies around research projects and events
  • Collaborate across disciplines, regions, and within studios to identify opportunities and drive for continual improvement
  • Drive Business Development methodology, standards/practices, processes, and technology solutions within the Studio to enhance the capability and effectiveness of the organization
  • Develop and deploy strategies that will result in a high sales conversion rate with target clients
  • Ensure strategies are effective for the needs of the local market
  • Demonstrate success in supporting and driving cross-regional client opportunities
  • Align business development initiatives with the Unispace brand
  • Implement effective research projects and events
  • Implement a local risk management plan with evidence of appropriate action taken
  • Maintain consistency of standards, technology solutions, and processes across the region to achieve global brand capability, drive best practices, and achieve efficiencies

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Extensive local market and industry knowledge and network
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in client facing relationship and direct lead management preferred
  • Experience in utilising cold calling techniques as a method to build relationships with potential leads
  • Resilience and organisation agility
  • Client-oriented and results driven
