Role Overview:

We’re a fast-growing specialized Commercial Business & Property Finance Brokerage setting our sights high! Due to this fast-growth, and our future growth plans, we are actively seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll unlock new business opportunities and drive growth throughout all of Scotland! As part of your responsibilities, you’ll engage with prospects through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, networking events, and corporate gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Attend networking events to expand your network and open new doors.
  • Set meetings and appointments to drive new business.
  • Make warm calls to follow up on marketing campaigns and introduce the business and products.
  • Qualify new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Re-engage with the existing customer base to keep them engaged.
  • Update the Customer Relationship Management system with pipeline movement and general case updates.
  • Support the Managing Director where appropriate on case management and processing.
  • Liaise with lenders to help with general business activity.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role includes a base pay of £35,000. Additionally, with our competitive commission structure, there is an uncapped On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential in excess of £60,000+. This provides a significant earning opportunity for a motivated and successful Business Development Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for opening doors to new business opportunities. You will be expected to raise awareness of the business and its products and drive new business.
