Role: Business Development Manager (Soft Assets)

Location: Nationwide Field Based

Salary: £40/70k including car allowance plus uncapped commission

Our client is well established Brokerage who has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Broker Manager to join their sales team. Successful applicants will have experience of working in the soft asset finance industry and have an existing customer base.

Responsibilities of A Business Development Manager -

  • To take a proactive role in identifying and approaching customers to promote the company’s financing products and services
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to promote business and identify further opportunities
  • Assess the quality of the proposal through appropriate checks such as Annual Report & Accounts, management accounts, searches, and appropriate product information if necessary
  • Negotiate terms of proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and submit for approval
  • Adhere to the Company’s Anti-Money Laundering Policy
  • Report all issues of regulatory concern to the Asset Finance Operations Director / Bank Legal & Compliance Director
  • Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events

Knowledge & Skills of A Business Development Manager -

  • In depth understanding of finance products and accounts and a successful sales track record in Asset Finance
  • Maintain an awareness of changes to legislation
  • Target orientated
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic "can do" attitude
  • Establishes effective working relationships at all levels
  • Customer Focused approach
