Area to be covered: Southern Home Counties & London

Remuneration: £35,000- - £50,000 + 1% commission of sales

Benefits: £360 car allowance or A-class Mercedes + benefits package

The role of the Business Development Manager - Timber Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of timber products such as: timber cladding, fencing, gates, machined timber, wood beams etc
• 50% of your time will be spent selling to and dealing with architects, specifiers and project managers
• The remaining 50% will be spent dealing with and selling to main contractors, developers and sub-contractors
• Typical project sizes are £70k
• Once up and running will be expected to turnover circa £1.2m - £1.5m in 2 years

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Timber Products with:

• Must have construction field sales experience
• Ideally sold to architects and main contractors
• Would consider someone selling to merchants
• Open in terms of what products you’ve sold however ideally from a structural building products background
• Must be plenty of get up and go
• Driven & hungry to generate business
