Contracts Business Development Manager

South West

£35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Commission, Car OR Allowance, 23 days Holiday plus bank holidays increasing with service, Uniform, Laptop, Phone and Pension

I am currently looking for a Contracts Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. We a family run business with over 75 years’ experience in Fire & Security. We are focused on providing exceptional quality and services.

The Role:

  • To develop new opportunities and target new account relationships to generate growth.
  • Effectively manage relationships
  • Accurately update our system with customer details
  • Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with colleagues
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services
  • Increase knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to enhance market position
  • Ability to manage own diary and time effectively
  • Any other duties as necessary in the role
  • Travel to meet clients

Skills and requirements:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in sales role
  • Fire & Security knowledge essential
  • BS knowledge
  • Professional, business focused and results driven
  • Strong individual with positive outlook
  • PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages
  • Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close deals’
  • Problem solver who can generate ideas and solutions
  • Determined approach
  • Full UK driving license
