Our client has been at the forefront of shaping customer journeys for nearly 150 years and now provide barrier, turnstile, crowd management and digital signage solutions. In the fast-paced world of today, the business specialises in customer experience management consulting and offers turnkey queue flow solutions to clients across 150+ countries globally. We are now looking for an experienced Field Sales Business Development Manager to generate new business revenues.

Business Development Manager

Frankfurt, Germany with frequent travel within Germany.

Salary: €45-60K + Bonus + Company Car.

Languages required for this role: German & English.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident Business Development Manager with at least 3 years of sales experience in the B2B sector and experience of selling solutions in a highly consultative sales process. Other requirements for this role include:

  • Communication skills, persuasiveness, and customer orientation
  • Independent, structured, and self-reliant
  • Willingness to travel in the DACH region
  • Driver's license
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent negotiation skills in German and English, both spoken and written

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the sales growth and market penetrations in the Company’s key market sectors of Airports & Mass Transportation, Retail, Health & Safety, Channel, Leisure & Tourism venues. Other responsibilities for this role include:

  • Acquisition of new customers as well as Business Development within existing Clients
  • Presentation and demonstration of the product portfolio and on-site planning support for Clients
  • Implementation of entrepreneurial objectives, along with responsibility for sales and profitability
  • Regular coordination with management
  • Collaboration with the Internal Sales Department
  • Market, Competitor, and Customer analysis
