Business Development Manager

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity working for a fast-growing Managed Services Provider to be based in Horsham, West Sussex?

Our client is a dynamic business with a high growth rate over the past 7 years and further growth planned over the next 5-10 years with lots of opportunities for development and advancement within the business.

Duties of the Role

  • Engaging with potential new clients and business prospects to promote core services and generate sales opportunities
  • Opening via direct marketing, cold call, social media, exhibitions.
  • Developing - experience of initial fact-finding meetings (either teams or face-to-face) establishing need for solutions and services.
  • Presenting - creating and delivering proposal presentations utilising powerpoint and or word.
  • Closing deals and negotiating
  • Company solutions cover all areas of IT hardware and services. Experience of Managed Print also highly desirable.
  • Logging activities, notes and updating information on the company CRM

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience of IT B2B sales - experience required of all areas of the sales cycle.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • This is a 'hunter’ role so looking for candidates showing a keen motivation for new business
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Positive 'can-do’ attitude with a good sense of humour

Salary

  • Basic salary: negotiable depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission
  • Pension
  • Annual bonus
