Business Development Manager
Salary per annum £45K - £60K per annum plus commission - Hybrid - 3 days in office - South East London HQ
Medical Communications Solutions. The client is a large Publisher of Healthcare Journals read by Academics, Healthcare Professionals and the Scientific Community. They are currently expanding their MedComms sales team and are looking to appoint a BDM capable of engaging with large pharmaceutical and medical device companies to offer a solution to help them raise the profile of new developments and products.
The sales role will be focused on new project revenue from existing and new clients, you will build and develop strong relationships with senior decision-makers from the pharmaceutical, medical education and biotech sectors - via face-to-face, phone, and email engagement.
Developing an in depth understanding of the clients business, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor, you will be offering a suite of products, including medical education publications, product trials, podcasts, webinars, evidence reviews, focus groups, surveys, face-to-face educational meetings, e-Learning modules, etc.
Ideally you will already have had some exposure to MedComms either in an agency or publishing business and are capable of handling a variety of difficult and challenging MarComms assignments. You are an energetic and motivated sales person that can articulate a significant value proposition for your clients in person.
This is a great career opportunity to join an existing brand name. Hybrid working is offered (SE London HQ) and basic salary up to £60K plus bonus.
