A senior field sales role selling my clients industry leading range of commercial laundry equipment, a range that includes professional washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing equipment. Selling into large commercial end-users across a number of vertical markets, with the equipment sold outright, or with lease agreements and maintenance contracts.

Package: circa £40k-£45k basic with a £20k uncapped OTE, hybrid or electric company car, 25 days holiday, pension, mobile, laptop
Territory: National role, but you need to be centrally based and accessible to the motorway network
Products: Commercial laundry equipment - washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing equipment
Customers: Commercial end-users across a number of vertical markets, including hotel, leisure, catering, foodservice, education, hospital, care homes, veterinary, work-wear and contract cleaning companies

The Role - Business Development Manager:

  • A senior field sales role selling my clients industry leading range of commercial laundry equipment
  • A range that includes professional washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing equipment
  • You will inherit a portfolio of key accounts to manage and develop, with the emphasis though on winning new contracts with commercial end-users across the public and private sectors
  • Key sectors include hotel, leisure, catering, foodservice, education, healthcare, veterinary, prisons, work-wear and contract cleaning companies
  • All accounts won will be retained and developed by yourself
  • You will also work with and strengthen relationships with a small portfolio of distributors
  • The equipment can be sold outright, or with lease agreements and maintenance contracts

The Successful Applicant - Business Development Manager:

  • Applicants with commercial laundry backgrounds will be readily received
  • Although my client will equally consider field sales professionals with other capital equipment backgrounds
  • Either way you will be professional, pro-active and self-motivated, with excellent communication and presentation skills
