Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel - Scotland

This incredibly successful independent Corporate Travel Business are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business for them.

Business Development Manager -What will I be doing?

  • You will be researching, finding, pursuing and executing new business in the local area and in the oil and gas industry
  • When it comes to bringing on new clients you will ensure setups comply with ISO standards and coordinate with departments.
  • You will resolve issues and mediate between clients and departments.
  • You will report progress - provide weekly updates to the Managing Director.
  • You will also develop marketing materials and assist with marketing strategies.
  • You will represent the company by attending industry events to promote services.

Business Development Manager - What experience do I need?

  • It is essential that you have worked in Corporate Travel bringing in new business previously or worked in Account Management in Corporate travel.
  • Customer-focused
  • Outgoing and confident
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and perseverance
  • IT proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Email)
  • Self-motivated and independent

What else do I need to know?

This is a hybrid role based 3 days a week in Aberdeen and 2 from home. They are paying a good basic salary plus bonus scheme. 31 days holiday, competitive pension, life assurance, employee discount scheme. They are a wonderful business to work for!
